About
Emerging Technology Studio and the Library Makerlab is hosting Designer's Edge, a Design Competition similar to a hackathon but for design!
The competition lasts 30 hours, BUT you do not need to be present the whole time.
You will be tasked to design a product centered around a theme and create a presentation to compete with for awards and prizes in different categories!
Award Categories
There are 4 Award Categories for this event:
- Best 3D
- Any 3D Render, Model, etc.
- Best 2D
- Any Art, Graphic Design, etc.
- Best UI/UX
- Any UI/UX design for a website, game, etc.
- Best Physical
- Must present a physical item during judging!
Requirements
What to Submit
In order to be eligible for a reward, you must submit progress checks throughout the event to show that you have been consistently working on your submission.
If you do not submit a progress check on time, you will be ineligible for an award.
